*DDC holds public grievance camp at Dab*
Ganderbal, July 31: Continuing its efforts to ensure redressal of grievances at the door steps of the people, District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan today held a Public Darbar at Dab, Ganderbal where he listened to the public grievances.
The camp was attended by ADDC, Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal, ADC, Showkat Ahmad, ACD Ganderbal, Executive Engineer R&B, PMGSY, PDD, Tehsildar Wakura, BDO Wakura besides other officers of the district and marked the participation of huge number of people of the adjoining areas.
The redressal camp witnessed enthusiastic participation of people of the areas who apprised the DDC about various issues and demands of public importance while seeking his intervention for early redressal of the same.
Meanwhile, DDC gave a patient hearing to the representatives of the area and assured them that their genuine demands will be addressed in a phased manner at an earliest.
During these camps, DDC issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers aimed at resolution of several concerns and directed them to maintain close liaison with the local population so that their grievances are redressed at the earliest.
DC asked the accompanying officers to work in coordinating and proactive approach towards resolving the issues of people.
He also urged the concerned officials to start awareness program regarding segregation of non bio degradable waste from the houses and directed them to start a massive sanitation drive in the area taking help of local people besides asked the local populace to abstain from littering the garbage and plastic in the surrounding.
He directed the officials to organize massive awareness camps regarding the welfare schemes both state and centrally sponsored and held meeting at Tehsil and village level to get feedback of implementation of various schemes at grassroot level.
He said several projects are in pipeline to resolve the long pending demands in the district besides persistent efforts are afoot to accelerate the pace of development in the district to provide people all basic facilities especially to make their lives more comfortable.
