Study tour for Kashmiri youth by SSB concludes

Two teams consisting of 40 youths of Kashmir region and officials of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) returned back after completion of 10 days study tour under the banner “Watan Ko Jano”. The tour was organized by SSB with the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. One team of 20 youths visited historical places at Delhi, Agra and Gujarat while another team with same number of youths visited Delhi, Agra and Kolkata. A closing ceremony was done on 13th of this month at Sector Headquarters (Spl. Ops) SSB campus Rangreth, Budgam which was presided by Sh. Ranjeet Singh, DIG, SHQ (Spl Ops) SSB Srinagar. Teams were warmly received by the officers and officials of Sector Hqrs (Spl Ops) SSB Srinagar.

The team leaders of both the teams addressed to the youths & guardians and briefed about the motive of the study tour. The students expressed their views about the study tour. They told that the tour was full of inspiration & knowledge gaining. This tour gave them the exposure to the various cultures, food habits, languages & geographical conditions of the states of India. They felt proud to be Indian citizen of such wonderful country. Following this, DIG, SHQ SSB addressed to all youths of study tour, their guardians, SSB’s officials. Sh. Ranjeet Singh, DIG SSB said that we all have to do our best efforts to raise the name of J&K state with very positiveness, irrespective of negative thoughts being spread by some anti social & anti national elements. He blessed all the students of both the teams to become successful citizens of India to participate in the journey of development of India. DIG also told about the brief history of SSB which is serving the India with the motto of Service, Security & Brotherhood.
