Khunmoh based Army camp organized a Veterinary Camp at village Chek Sangri/Balhama, Khunmoh to provide health care support to the livestocks of the local Awaam. A team of doctors from the Army and civil Veterinary Hospital, Srinagar, provided free medical treatment and generic medicines to over 1500 animals which included cows, calf, sheep, horse, dogs, poultry and goats from nearby villages. Villagers came forward in large numbers and were greatly benefitted from the initiative taken by the Army. It also provided a platform for the Awaam to interact with the Army and put forth their daily problems.
