PULWAMA, FEBRUARY 16: One-day Job Mela was today organized by the District Skill Development Committee at Govt Degree College, Tral.
The program was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC accentuated that educated youth should come forward to set up their own business ventures to get maximum benefits under these schemes. He stressed upon departments to provide full cooperation to unemployed interested in creating their own business ventures under these different schemes and programmes.
The DDC further said that the government has launched several reformative measures towards promoting skill development in the UT to make unemployed youth self-reliant in their livelihood.
Scores of unemployed educated youth participated in the fair and registered themselves with the concerned committee.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral, General Manager District Industries Centre and other district officers were present on the occasion.
