CUK holds cleanliness drive at Green Campus

Ganderbal, Sept 25: In connection with the ongoing Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in the university, the Department of Students Welfare, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Saturday organised a cleanliness drive at the Green Campus here.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir, Registrar, Prof. M Afzal Zargar, Director DSW, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Shah participated in the drive which was also attended by senior functionaries, research scholars and students of the university.

Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir, highlighted the importance of cleanliness and asked the students, faculty and other staff members to ensure proper hygiene at their respective place of working. He quoted different religious scriptures wherein cleanliness has been given utmost priority vis-a-vis the human behaviour and living is concerned.

Thereafter, all the participants removed the waste material from the campus compound.
