Amid lockdown Hajin Police carries pregnant lady to hospital

Hajin, April 04, : Amid lockdown and restrictions on public movement, Hajin Police in North Kashmir Bandipora district, on Saturday came to the help of a 35-year old pregnant lady and rescued her to the hospital.
According to CNS Hajin correspondent, after receiving the information about a pregnant woman stuck in a Baharabad village of Hajin area of North Kashmir, a medical team of police officials rushed to the spot and rescued a woman with pregnancy-related complications by carrying her to Hospital in a Police vehicle.
A Police official said that her husband called police, informing that his wife had developed some pregnancy-related complications and since there is no public transport on roads, he is in dire need of a vehicle to ferry his wife to the hospital.
Responding to the SOS call of the person, Hajin police immediately deputed a team to the area to shift the lady to the hospital.
The team reached the village and the ferried the lady to Sumbal Hospital for further treatment.
While expressing his gratitude for the timely response of the police, Altaf Ahmad the husband of the said lady said that he is thankful to the Hajin police for the timely help.
