Two months on, admin fails to restore broadband in Brein Nishat

Srinagar, April 05: The residents of Brein Nishat area of Srinagar Sunday expressed resentment against the BSNL authorities for failing to restore broadband connections in the area.A delegation of residents told JKNS that from past 2 months, authorities have failed to restore the defunct landline in the area.

Abdul Rashid, a local said they are suffering as broadband connections are not working in the area.“There is a fiber cut at water works road and they have failed to repair the same. It seems they have neglected the people of the area,” he said adding people are suffering from past 2 months.Another resident Riyaz Ahmad said that despite repeated attempts to concerned authorities, but things have remained unchanged on ground.“We went to exchange office of BSNL to register our grievance but there was no concrete response from the officials,” he said.An official at BSNL said that they would look into the issue and they will send their concerned official to repair the line in the area.
