National Senior Citizens Day observed in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 21:- To mark the National Senior Citizens Day to inculcate sense of responsibility in young generation towards their elders, the Distric Social Welfare Office in collaboration with District Administration Srinagar today organized series of activities here at  Zila Sanik Bawan and Tehsil Social Welfare Office Miskeen Bagh. Social Welfare Department organized series of activities SHOPIAN, AUGUST 21: District Social Welfare Office, Shopian today conducted a series of activities to observe the National Senior Citizens Day today. The Department in collaboration with the health department organized medical camps where free checkups were conducted  and medicine was provided to the senior citizens of the district at various places. Div Com takes part in Dal cleaning, deweeding drive

SRINAGAR AUGUST  21:- The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole undertook a visit to Dal Lakel and participated in the ongoing cleaning drive undertaken by Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA). The Divisional Commissioner was joined by President Kaavish Foundation, Sufi Arvind Guru  along with his Team of volunteers and large number of students also participated in the cleanliness drive.
