INDIAN ARMY ORGANISES NATIONAL SPORTS DAY FOR

SCHOOL CHILDREN NEAR LINE OF CONTROL   Srinagar, 29 August 2022.   National Sports Day was celebrated at Govt Upper Primary School, Kamkari near the Line of Control in Machhal Sector, Kupwara. A total of three teachers and 55 children participated in the event. The school children of this remote border area were educated about the importance of sports in maintaining physical and mental health in their lives. Sports, such as cricket, football, kabaddi and kho kho were organized for the children. The children showed great competitive spirit and all the participants were awarded during the prize distribution ceremony. VC DDC Kupwara reviews progress of on-going developmental works

KUPWARA, AUGUST 29: The Vice Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of concerned Sarpanches, here to review the progress of various Rural Development schemes including 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY, B2V and other allied schemes in DDC Constituency Wavoora.
