SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07: Former MLA from Bhaderwah, Sh Daleep Singh Parihar and former MLC, Sh Ramesh Arora today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan here. Sh Parihar held discussion with the Lt Governor on the development of tourism and strengthening of road network in Bhaderwah, among other issues. While interacting with the former legislator, the Lt Governor said that actionable steps will be taken on the issues and demands based on merit. SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today chaired a high level meeting, at Civil Secretariat, to review the implementation and progress of mega road projects in Jammu & Kashmir. During the meeting, the Lt Governor took stock of the status of various roads, tunnels, bridges projects under Central sector, Centrally Sponsored and UT Sector schemes including Prime Minister's Development Package, Parvatmala, PMGSY, CRIF, NABARD, C&T Macadamization, Pothole-free Road programme, Bridge programme and Road Sector. Secretary NFCH reviews enrollment of militancy affected children for financial assistance

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07: Secretary, National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Home Affiars, Manoj Pant, today reviewed implementation of rehabilitation programme for child victims of militancy in Kashmir division. The meeting was attended by Director Social Welfare Department, Kashmir, Additional Deputy Commissioners, District Social Welfare Officers, DDO, NFCH and other concerned officers. It was informed that 6702 children have been assisted in twenty districts of Jammu and Kashmir by NFCH with financial assistance of rupees 50.39 crore. Besides, Rs 1.94 crore have been released in favour of 1071 affected victims during 2021-22 while Rs 63.12 lakh have been released for 392 victims in 2022-23.
