SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 27: Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department (PDD), H. Rajesh Prasad today took an introductory review meeting with the officers of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL). The Principal Secretary was briefed by the Managing Director KPDCL Yasin M Choudhary regarding the organizational structure, asset and working of KPDCL. The progress of installation of Smart Meters and Winter preparedness was also reviewed. The Engineers were directed by the Principal Secretary to complete all the works as per schedule and increase the revenue realization to reduce the AT&C loss to target committed under RDSS. Directs speedy completion of Kishtwar-Khellani power line Smart metering in Jammu-Srinagar to be done by March 2023 JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 27: Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta chaired a review meeting of the power sector in Jammu & Kashmir at the Civil Secretariat today. The Chief Secretary was informed about the status of 1.15 lakh smart meters being installed in Jammu and Srinagar cities in addition to the additional 6 lakh meters to be installed subsequently.
