Admin dedicates helpline for dialysis, diabetic and cancer patients in Anantnag

Srinagar, April 19: As coronavirus lockdown, district administration Anantnag has dedicated helpline facilitation for patients requiring life-saving drugs. The patients can avail dialysis, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy during the ongoing restrictions imposed to contain the spread of covid-19. Srinagar, April 19: The residents of Aali Masjid Eidgah expressed resentment against the Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to repair Low Tension (LT) wire in the area, posing threat to locals.A local Asif Majeed told JKNS that tangling LT wire has endangered the lives of people in the area as concerned authorities have failed to look into the issue.“Despite repeated pleas to PDD officials from Saturday, things have remained unchanged on the ground. Two died after a house collapsed in Rajouri

Srinagar, April 19: At least two persons died, on Sunday after under-construction house collapsed in Dharamshal village of Rajouri district, officials said.A police officer at Rajouri told JKNS that incident took place around 2 am on Sunday and after that, they rushed the spot and launched the rescue operation in the area.“We retrieved two dead bodies from the debris, who were identified Mohammad Pervaiz and Manzoor Hussain,” he said.The official said due to consistent rains in the area, the house could have been collapsed and earlier also they have witnessed such incidents in the area. Sopore teen tested positive for coronavirus

Admin seals the village Srinagar, April 19: A 20-year youth from Botingoo area of north Kashmir Sopore town was tested positive for coronavirus infection, officials said. A doctor at Sub-district Hospital wishing anonymity told JKNS that 20-year-old boy was tested positive for the coronavirus infection on Sunday and has a travel of New Delhi.“From past two days, the young boy was kept under quarantine and was tested on positive on Sunday,” the officials said. Another official said that they have sealed the Botingoo village and the patient had returned a few days ago from New Delhi. “We have sanitized the whole locality and declared it red zones.
