  In continuation with its efforts to provide medical care and assistance to the Awaam of Kashmir and their livestock, the Army organised Medical cum Veterinary Camps at Pulwama and Langate on 26th December 2018.

            The Medical & Veterinary Camp at Pulwama was conducted in village Nagendra-Zantrang wherein a team of Army and Civil Doctors including paramedics provided medical consultation and assistance to over 200 locals from nearby villages and also provided free medication. In addition, over 50 livestock of the villagers and bakarwals were provided necessary veterinary care

            At Langate, the Army in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of India, organised the Medical & Veterinary Camp at Haril village which rendered medical care to over 700 locals.

            As a part of these Camps, the Doctors also focused on creating awareness among the people about importance of personal hygiene and community sanitation. The villagers were highly appreciative for the medical attention and genuine concern shown by the Army towards the Awaam.
